The association was founded in Göttingen at the beginning of the war in Ukraine in 2022, driven by the desire to take concrete action rather than stand idly by. Since then, seven members have volunteered alongside their regular jobs to organize aid projects and support people in difficult circumstances – currently primarily in Ukraine and Kibera, Kenya. We are united by the conviction that everyone has the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world. Even small contributions can make a difference when people work together and take responsibility for one another. It is important to us that aid reaches those in need directly. We deliberately operate simply, transparently, and without complex structures so that donations reach the people who urgently require them as fully as possible. Our motivation stems from a simple idea: helping others begins with people who are willing to stand up for them.
